The 3/4" x 48" Ash Dowels are made from the highest quality Ash. Made in the U.S.A., these dowels have a wide range of applications from DIY crafts to fine woodworking projects. Ash is a very stable hardwood specie. It can be slightly more coarse in texture with a slightly open, sometimes wavy grain. At times there can be a high contrast in grain pattern. Color varies from a whitish/light brown to a creamy darker brown. When finished they have a beautiful luster.
