Poplar Bungs 2"- SECONDS

The Second Quality  2" Poplar bungs are made from high quality Appalachian Poplar. Often referred to as "seconds", these #2 quality bungs are are classified as "non-liquid" meaning they could contain minor defects such as knots or flat spots, prohibiting them from creating a liquid tight seal in a barrel. While we do not advise to use them in full barrels, they can be used in empty barrels as a placeholder during transit to keep out dust/debris. In addition to being used in barrels, these bungs can also be used as in packaging tubes, paper cores, firework mortar tubes, and as insulation plugs. As these are a byproduct of our standard 2" bungs, they are subject to availability.
