White Oak Serrated Bung 2"

The 2" White Oak Serrated bungs are made from high quality American White Oak, which has been growing in popularity in recent years. Made from the same American White Oak used for barrel staves, the white oak serrated bungs are identical to the standard white oak bungs except for the sides. While the standard bungs have smooth sides, the serrated bungs have small grooves running around the side of the bung, parallel to the top and bottom. These grooves allow the bung to "grip" the sides better, creating a tighter seal with less chance of evaporation. The standard 2” diameter fits the majority of 53-gallon spirit barrels. Custom diameters and thicknesses are also available upon request.
